Return & Refund Policy:
We clearly offer a 14 days return policy on ALL orders. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, notify us in 14 days! We will help you out with advice to make it work for you. If you decide to return a product, simply contact us at info@technosources.ca for a ‘contact us form/Return Authorization Number. RMA numbers are valid for 7 days only. Returned packages without an RMA number will be refused by us.
We offer a 14 days return policy on most of the orders. However, NO return/exchange is allowed for items like batteries, baluns, power adaptors, wires, custom built DVRs, or custom built cameras and other appliances. These are for FINAL SALE. Our policy does NOT cover and so will NOT refund any kind of shipping & handling charges for returned items. ALL returned items are subject to a non-negotiable minimum 25% restocking FEE. You will receive refund in original form of payment. International orders are for FINAL (no refund). Customers for international orders are responsible themselves for all charges for warranty related repairs.
 
In order to return our products, you MUST meet the following terms:
    • You must return your merchandise to us within 14 days of receiving it with the original RECEIPT of your purchase and RMA marked on outside of the box. Instruction manuals and warranty cards inside have to be UNMARKED.
    • Products must be returned in new, unused and resalable condition with all labels, tags, packaging materials such as untorn/undamaged boxes, manuals, bags etc. We will REFUSE or CHARGE your account for a restocking fee up to 50% if you return the merchandise in used or damaged condition.
    • Items that have become short-circuited or tampered due to improper installation (incorrect voltage use or poor handling) or any other reasons such as ignoring the proper instructions, are absolutely NOT returnable or exchangeable.
    • You will be CHARGED for a 25% restocking fee if you return products in used conditions (after opening and testing) ‘claiming’ it to be defective where upon return we inspect and find out that it is actually not. Failure to operate our products due to lack of enough understanding or experience of technical usages of equipments does NOT make it faulty.
    • If your returned goods meet ALL of the above terms, a refund will be issued to your charged account in the original form of payment within one week after we receive the merchandise and verify the above conditions. Remember, SHIPPING charges are NON-REFUNDABLE. We do NOT offer store credit.
 
Warranty Policy:
To get warranty service, simply send us your RMA request using our website. Fill out the warranty cards and clearly mark the RMA number on outside of the box. Return the product once you receive a RMA number and returning address from us in email. It is YOUR sole responsibility to bear ALL kind of shipping and insurance expenses (BOTH shipping and prepaid returning cost). The RISK for both – data loss from the system and the loss of the item during shipment goes to the CUSTOMER and NOT to Technosource since we do NOT make warranties.
We normally offer free repair on all products for manufacturing defects under warranty for 2 years unless specified. Customer is responsible, with NO exception, for all the shipping expenses to send the products to us. The warranty policy accept only ONE product repair incident ONCE. It will NOT repeat repairs of the same products. Warranty policy does NOT apply on items like batteries, baluns, power adaptors, wires, custom built DVRs, or custom built cameras and other consumables.
In order to get the warranty services, you MUST meet the following terms:
    • Products will be disqualified for manufacture warranties if original parts or cables are removed from camera/DVR systems.
    • Damaged products due to poor shipping or handling voids its warranty.
    • Items that have become short-circuited or tampered due to improper installation (incorrect voltage use or poor handling) or any other reasons such as ignoring the proper instructions, are absolutely NOT covered by the warranty.
    • Warranty will NOT cover for damaged camera because of incorrect installation or wrong power use, misuse, vandalism, accidents, lack of proper installation environment (rain, improper tampering etc. that are unsuitable for the device), lightning strikes, earthquakes, uncertified modification from anyone other than the manufacturer etc.
If the returned part is found to have any of the above facts by manufacturer discretion, the customer will be FURTHER CHARGED for cost of repair or substitution. If the customer refuses to pay for extra charge within one week of email alert, the process will be discontinued and thus the claim will be void.
